Family Services Agency Hires BCC to Craft Fundraising and Communications Strategy for 100th Anniversary

September 18, 2007

The Family Services Agency of Montgomery County, MD has hired Brodie Collins Cherel & Associates, LLC, to promote its services and build financial support for its programs during the organization’s 100th anniversary in 2008.

The Family Services Agency, Inc., founded in 1908, is the oldest private, non-profit social services agency in Montgomery County, MD. An affiliate of the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Foundation, the Family Services Agency provides high-quality services to foster wellbeing in the home, school, and community. The organization serves thousands of Montgomery County residents each year, from newborns to seniors, through 12 distinct programs developed in response to the growing and changing needs of the community.

BCC will create and implement a fundraising and communications plan to raise awareness of the agency’s programs, launch a new brand to celebrate the anniversary, build recognition of the role of the agency in the community, and generate greater financial support throughout the community.

The partnership between BCC and the Family Services Agency began in April of 2007. BCC is laying the groundwork for a 2008 year-long campaign leading up to a dinner and other anniversary events.
