BCC's Christine Owens To Provide Strategic Planning To Boys and Girls Club of Harlem

BETHESDA, MD - BCC’s Christine Owens is the faculty advisor for the 2009 Capstone Project at Columbia University. She and eight graduate students in the Fundraising and Non-Profit Management Program are working with the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem (BGCH). They will be an integral part of the strategic planning initiative being undertaken by the board of directors. Currently over 1, 000 young people participate in a full range of activities in four separate locations. The long term goal is to adapt and reuse P. S. 185 through a joint venture partnership to include a permanent state-of-the-art home for BGCH.
